THREE | In Antioch, the church cultivated friends, not followers. 

• Describe a relationship with a friend or mento who has impacted the way you follow Jesus. 
  
  

• Describe a relationship with a friend who is of a different generation, ethnic background, who speaks a different language, or is from a different culture who has impacted the way you see diversity in the Body of Christ. 

FOUR | In Antioch, they were looking for God’s called, not just the charismatic. 

• What is a gift God has given you that is often overlooked by many, but still seems to be making a difference in people’s lives as you share it with them? 

• Are you ever discouraged in your gifts because you don’t feel like they are recognized? If so, explain.

• What are the overlooked gifts in the lives of people around you that you could foster and encourage them to step into? How could you encourage them? 

FIVE | In Antioch, the church was committed to sending, not staying. 

• If you could be sent out as a missionary from your church, where do you think you would be sent? (Within the church? Within the neighborhood? Beyond?)

• If that were to happen, how would you need your church family to be praying for you?

SIX | In Antioch, the church was living in exile, not its own empire. 

• In what ways do you most feel like you’re living in a world you don’t belong to?

• In what ways might you reimagine the ways you’re living out your faith because our culture is changing so quickly?
