To be like children in Jesus' presence:
- Requires humility to receive Jesus' invitation.
- Requires confidence that even when we have nothing to offer Jesus, he still welcomes and receives us.
- Remember that God has time, space, energy and love available for us at all times.
- We have an opportunity to resist fear, and live securely in our identity as his children.
Discussion Questions:
- What was one thing you loved about being a kid?
- What is one way you would like to be more childlike?
- As adults, what can be the most challenging aspect of becoming like a child the way Jesus is inviting us to?
