Core Question: How are we participating with Jesus (and with each other) in the dream God has imagined for us since the beginning of time?

Turning God into A Habit

Where do our minds settle, where does our attention turn when we have opportunities to rest?

What are things we do besides resting when our minds and bodies have a chance to be still?

The Reward for Following Jesus is Jesus!

Practical Ways to Be with Jesus

• Pray the Psalms (Not Read, Pray) 
• Meditate on a Passage of Scripture
• Talk to God About Our Life
• Listen for His Voice
• Attempt to Let Go (Cast our Burdens on God) 
• Just Sit
• Focus on Our Breath
• Look at What Our Eyes Can’t See

Find Our Secret Place 

“If we want to reach the depth of life with God that Jesus modeled, we need to find a diversion-free place to get away and be alone with the Father. It could be an office in the woods, your bedroom late at night, or a park down the street from your house. Or if all that fails, a closet or pantry. The point is, like Jesus, we need to learn to hide.” Comer, 56-57

Brandon, Marcie, Kaitlyn, and Hudson Brazee are missionaries in Germany with Foursquare Missions International. Having moved to Europe seven years ago, they've recently launched a non-profit called Serve the City to share the love of Jesus with the city of Köln.
